Baccarat bets

There are only 3 kinds of bets in Baccarat. The possible outcomes are: the Player wins, the Bank wins or the end will be drawn. The last outcome is less possible and due to that it has the highest payout. Each baccarat table has its high and low table limits, so players must place their bets in accordance with them. They can be placed till the croupier announces that no bets can be placed.

Baccarat gaming process

The main idea of the game is to predict the outcome out of the 3 possible. After the bets are placed, the croupier gives out 4 cards. The 1st and the 3d card are dealt to the Player, and 2d and 4th card are dealt to the Bank. All the cards are dealt face up. Afterwards, the value of the given cards is counted and the winner is the hand which cards have the value closest to nine.

Bu there are some cases when the croupier is giving the third card to one of the hands. The Player can receive a 3d card if his/her 2 cards have value of 0-5 total points. The dealer can receive a 3d card if the value of the first two cards is:

• less than 3 points;
• exactly 3 points (except if the player points are exactly 8 in total);
• 4 points in total (except if the player total points are 0, 1, 8 or 9);
• 5 points in total (except if the player total points are 0, 1, 2, 3, 8, or 9);
• 6 points in total (except if the player total points are 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8 or 9).

Another situation is when the Player should stand is when his/her total points are 6 or 7. At the same time, the Bank stands if its total is 7. But if they both have card points higher than 7, then the game is considered to be over and the winner is the hand with the total points that are the closest to 9.

How to count cards value?

Cards like Jacks, Queens, Kings or Tens have the value of 0. Aces have the value of 1. All the other cards can be counted at their face value.

You have to count the sum of the cards and if the total points are higher than 10, you simply need to subtract 10 from the amount. For example, if the cards are Jacks, 6 and 9, the total is 15, but in Baccarat game it is 5.

Baccarat payouts

In general, the payout is 1:1, but as the Bank has a little advantage during the game, the payout is 0,95% when the Bank wins. The less possible outcome is when the game drawn, so the payout is 8:1.
